Paar gegossene und satiniert verglaste Leuchter, Modell „Griffon“, Val Saint Lambert, ca. 1930–1940.
Élégante paire de chandeliers en verre clair, au décor caractéristique du modèle « Griffon » de Val Saint Lambert. Chaque chandelier présente une base largement évasée en forme de feuilles d’acanthe stylisées, un fût central à section octogonale et un porte-bougie à godrons et bord ondulé. Le verre est d’une belle qualité avec un aspect satiné sur les parties moulées et légèrement brillant sur les parties travaillées. Modèle classique de la période Art Déco / années 1930 de la manufacture belge.
Très bon état général. Un des deux chandeliers présente deux petits éclats discrets sur le pied (à peine visibles selon l’angle). Aucune fissure ni restauration sur l’ensemble de la paire. Quelques très légères traces d’usage et micro-rayures normales pour l’âge. Non signés. Dimensions d’un chandelier : hauteur environ 27 cm, largeur maximale de la base environ 13 cm, poids de la paire 600 g.

Pair of moulded and satin glass candlesticks, “Griffon” model, Val Saint Lambert, circa 1930-1940.
Elegant pair of clear glass candlesticks featuring the characteristic “Griffon” model by Val Saint Lambert. Each candlestick has a widely flared base in stylized acanthus leaves, an octagonal central stem and a bobeche with gadroons and scalloped rim. The glass is of fine quality with a satin finish on the moulded parts and slightly brilliant on the worked parts. Classic model from the Art Deco / 1930s period of the Belgian manufacture.
Very good overall condition. One of the two candlesticks shows two small discreet chips on the foot (barely visible depending on the angle). No cracks or restorations on the pair. Some very light traces of use and micro-scratches normal for the age. Unsigned. Dimensions of one candlestick: height approx. 27 cm, maximum width of the base approx. 13 cm, weight of the pair 600 g.
