The high-contrast black and silver applied indices provide exceptional legibility, while the dual-language English and Kanji day wheel adds a highly appreciated touch of domestic market character.

Dial and Hands
The immaculate silver dial is defined by a distinct vertical brushed finish that catches the light beautifully. Striking contrast is achieved through the applied black indices, which feature polished silver facets, alongside the applied Seiko and LM logos. A framed day-date window at the 3 o'clock position displays both English and Kanji languages. The dial is exceptionally well preserved, showing no visible spotting, staining, or degradation. The crisp and highly legible handset matches the indices perfectly, featuring black baton hands with central silver stripes and a matching black sweep second hand, all free of visible corrosion or paint loss.
Case and Crystal
The tonneau-shaped stainless steel case presents strong original geometry, characterized by brushed top surfaces and polished flanks. The edges remain well-defined, with only light superficial scratches consistent with careful wear over the decades. Turning the watch over reveals caseback engravings that remain crisp and fully legible. An unsigned knurled crown sits flush against the side of the case. The flat crystal is clear, showing no significant scratches, chips, or crazing.
Movement
Powering the watch is the classic Seiko automatic caliber 5606, a highly regarded movement from the era. -12-15s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
