This original painting presents an animal-like form inspired by anatomy, developed through bold colour, fluid contours and layered organic shapes. The figure combines physical strength with a sense of inner calm, symbolising resilience, wisdom and protection.

Conceived as a guardian presence, the creature is intended to watch over the home and bring a feeling of security to the interior. The intense yellow background gives the composition a luminous, energetic character, while the red, pink and turquoise details emphasise its sculptural and almost totemic quality.

The artwork also features accents of metallic copper paint, giving it an elegant and refined appearance.

Over the artist

Dr Olga Winiarczyk ist eine intermediale Künstlerin und Forscherin mit einem Doktor der Künste von der Akademie der Bildenden Künste Warschau. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in über 40 Ausstellungen in Polen und im Ausland gezeigt, darunter dem Museum für Gegenwartskunst Warschau, dem Zentrum der polnischen Skulptur in Orońsko, der Labirynt-Galerie in Lublin, Kyiv Art Week, Venedig, Budapest, New York und die Kanarischen Inseln.
Sie ist Trägerin mehrerer Auszeichnungen und Ehrungen, darunter ein Stipendium des polnischen Ministers für Kultur und Nationales Erbe. Ihre aktuelle Praxis erforscht interspezies Kunst, Primaten, Rituale und Perspektiven nicht-menschlicher Wesen.
