Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung

Great Britain 1902/1905, 1/- Shilling King Edward VII (De La Rue printings).
Highly specialized study lot of 5 used copies, carefully selected for distinct shade variations, premium cancellations, and major printing flaws. An outstanding lot for plating and postal history specialists, comprising:

Stamp 1 (The Highlight): Spectacular specialized item combining three verified flaws on a single cliché: a prominent horizontal plate scratch completely breaking the left frame line next to "POSTAGE", an unprinted white dot (material void) in the red background directly above the scratch, and a deformed frame notch at bottom right with a complete break of the outer frame line. Cancelled by a partial large double ring postmark.

Stamp 2 (The Luxury Postmark): Superb choice copy featuring an exceptionally sharp, 100% complete, and mathematically centered single ring CDS "REIGATE / 20 NO 05" from Surrey (noted for its medieval history and Reigate Castle). Vibrant colors and pristine eye-appeal.

Stamp 3 (Shade Study): Distinctly intense, deep dull green shade on the center vignette with a bright carmine frame. Cancelled by a partial, illegible large double ring postmark.

Stamp 4 (District Cancellation): Visibly pale green / chalky green shade variation, cancelled by a large double ring postmark with clearly identifiable "W.D.O." (Western District Office, London) initials.

Stamp 5 (Postal History): Pale yellow-green shade, cancelled by a very attractive fragment of a scarce oval postmark (typically used for registered or administrative mail).

An unrepeatable assembly. Please examine the detailed images of the plate flaw variety and registered mail markings.
