Lacrymal (Jimmy) wurde 1990 in Aubervilliers geboren. Dort begann er seine autodidaktische Praxis, malte an den Wänden seiner Stadt Figuren, die er mit computererstellten Collagen mischt und anschließend druckt. Seine Werke zeigen eine Spannung zwischen zwei Form- und Linientypen. Er tritt in mehreren europäischen Ländern auf.
2018 hat Jimmy das Pseudonym Lacrymal für die Realisierung seiner Gemälde angenommen, ein Verweis auf die Drüse, die Tränen produziert.
