Über den Künstler

Die Arbeiten von Elena Paraskeva befinden sich in institutionellen und Unternehmenseigentums-Sammlungen, einschließlich der Public Art Department Swedens (Västra Götaland Government), dem Boston Hospital, USA (große 500 cm Installation am Eingang zur Abteilung Kinderkrebs), der Australian National University, dem Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif) und weiteren institutionellen und unternehmerischen Sammlungen.

Sie ist Laureat der Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards und vieler weiterer führender Fotoorganisationen; 2024/2023/2021/2018 wurde sie von vier unabhängigen internationalen Fotoorganisationen zur International Photographer of the Year ernannt.

Ihre Arbeiten wurden im EUROPA- Parlament in Brüssel sowie auf großen Biennalen und Galerien in NYC, Paris, Tokio, London, Dubai, Sao Paolo (Brasilien), Wien, Barcelona, München, Kuala Lumpur, Florenz, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena u. a. ausgestellt.

Im Jahr 2026 wählte der MAGNUM-Fotograf Alec Soth, weithin anerkannt als einer der einflussreichsten lebenden Fotografen, ihre Arbeiten persönlich für eine Ausstellung in Griechenland aus, die unter der Ägide des griechischen Kulturministeriums stattfand.

Seit 2021 ist sie Jurorin für das FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS und jedes Jahr als Jurorin bei mehreren internationalen Fotowettbewerben tätig. Sie war zudem früher Adobe-Instruktorin und Botschafterin.

Ihre Fotografien wurden in Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian (UK & Australien), The Times, Vogue.it, Aesthetica, LensCulture, PDN, Photography Masterclass und zahlreichen weiteren internationalen Publikationen veröffentlicht.
