The vase features a rich emerald-green to turquoise gradient glaze, enhanced by a fine network of natural-looking glaze crackle that gives the surface depth and character.

Three elegant white egrets/herons are boldly depicted among reeds. Their bodies and feathers are rendered with raised relief and incised detailing, creating a sculptural three-dimensional effect against the vivid green background.
