Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
--- Introduction ---
This is the Seiko 5 in its most familiar 1980s dress: a slim, softly angular steel case, a silver sunburst dial with applied gilt batons, and the day and date sitting together at 3 behind the calibre 7009. It is the pattern that made the line the default mechanical watch of its era - self-winding, quietly accurate, and built to be worn rather than admired. Presented on its original steel bracelet with a signed Seiko clasp.

--- Condition Report ---
Overall: Good - visible signs of wear. A running vintage automatic with one functional caveat, described below.
Case & Bezel: The steel case retains its form, with hairline scratches and small nicks across the polished bezel and caseband, and some dulling of the brushed surfaces from wear.
Dial & Crystal: The silver dial is clean and even, with all applied gilt batons and hands present and correct and both discs legible. The crystal is clear, showing light surface marks.
Bracelet & Clasp: The steel bracelet is complete and closes securely on its signed clasp. The links show scratches, dulling of the finish and the stretch usual to a bracelet of this age.
Functions: Automatic movement, running at the time of listing and winding by wrist motion. The date sets correctly. IMPORTANT - the quick-set for the day of the week does not work; the day disc advances only as the movement runs through the hours. The buyer should budget for a service if this function is required. Water resistance has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed on a watch of this age.
--- International Shipping & Customs ---
The watch is dispatched from Japan, carefully packed and fully tracked. Please note that import duties, taxes and customs clearance charges are not included in the item price or in the shipping cost. Such charges are levied by the customs authorities of the destination country and remain the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are not able to declare a lot as a gift or to understate its value.
