ÜBER DIE KÜNSTLERIN

Das Werk von Elena Paraskeva befindet sich in institutionellen und unternehmensspezifischen Sammlungen, darunter dem Public Art Department of Sweden (Västra Götaland Government), Boston Hospital, USA (große 500 cm Installation am Eingang zur Abteilung für Kinderkrebs), Australian National University, Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif) und weiteren institutionellen und unternehmerischen Sammlungen.

Sie ist Laureate der Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards und vielen weiteren Spitzen-Fotografie-Organisationen und wurde von vier verschiedenen internationalen Fotografie-Organisationen mehrfach zur International Photographer of the Year (2024 / 2023 / 2021 / 2018) gekürt.

Ihre Arbeiten wurden im Europäischen Parlament in Brüssel ausgestellt sowie auf großen Biennales und Galerien in NYC, Paris, Tokyo, London, Dubai, Sao Paolo (Brasilien), Wien, Barcelona, München, Kuala Lumpur, Florenz, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena und mehr.
Im Jahr 2026 wählte der MAGNUM-Fotograf Alec Soth, weithin als einer der einflussreichsten lebenden Fotografen anerkannt, ihre Arbeit persönlich für eine Ausstellung in Griechenland aus, die unter der Schirmherrschaft des griechischen Kulturministeriums stattfand.

Seit 2021 ist sie Jurorin für das FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS und jedes Jahr Jurorin für mehrere internationale Fotowettbewerbe. Sie ist außerdem ehemalige Adobe-Ausbilderin und Markenbotschafterin.

Ihre Fotografien wurden in Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian (UK & Australien), The Times, Vogue.it, Aesthetica, LensCulture, PDN, Photography Masterclass und zahlreichen anderen internationalen Publikationen veröffentlicht.
