Description
A fine and substantial antique Russian samovar made of solid brass, designed for traditional charcoal or wood heating.

Key Features:

Authentic Maker’s Mark: The four-footed base features a clear maker's stamp reading (* T.K. *), verifying its production in an established workshop/manufactory during the Russian Empire era.

Classic Design: Traditional cylindrical body ("Bank" shape) with an ornate fretwork key design on the tap.

Original Handles: Side carrying handles with wood grips, as well as wooden knobs on the lid and steam vent.

Provenance: Purchased in 1950 in historical Saint Petersburg (then Leningrad) and held in family possession since.

Condition:
The samovar is in very good, unrestored original condition. It displays a beautiful age-related patina with warm copper tones showing through in areas (natural brass dezincification patina). The interior heating chimney shows historical heat and limescale marks from traditional use. The underside of the lid retains its original tin lining. No major dents or cracks.

An excellent collector's item for enthusiasts of Russian antiques, tea history, or as a striking decorative display piece.
