Get your hands on this vintage Longines ladies’ watch Ref. 8476-1, featuring the serviced 17-jewel calibre 410 manual-winding movement, stainless-steel tonneau case, original silver sunburst dial and crystal, original Longines box and 3-month functionality guarantee.
Model History:
This elegant Longines Ref. 8476-1 dates from the transition between the late 1960s and early 1970s, when Longines was producing a wide variety of compact hand-wound dress watches for women. The reference combines a distinctly period tonneau-shaped stainless-steel case with a restrained silver sunburst dial and applied baton markers.
Inside is the Longines calibre 410, a small rectangular manual-winding movement developed specifically for compact two-hand watches. It is a 17-jewel Swiss lever movement running at 21,600 vibrations per hour and belongs to a movement family used by Longines throughout the 1960s and into the early 1970s.

The watch is in good vintage condition, with an attractive and largely well-preserved original appearance.
The stainless-steel tonneau case retains its characteristic brushed finish and strong period shape. Light scratches, small marks and normal signs of age are visible, but the case remains well defined and presents nicely overall.
The original silver sunburst dial has developed some visible age-related patina, including small spots and discolouration, particularly around parts of the outer dial. The printing, Longines winged-hourglass emblem and applied baton markers remain clearly visible. The dial has not been refinished and retains its genuine vintage character.
The original crystal has been polished and presents clearly, although some very light remaining age-related marks may still be visible at certain angles.
The watch is fitted with a new black leather strap. It is also accompanied by an original period Longines presentation box, which shows normal age-related wear and discolouration.
The Longines calibre 410 manual-winding movement has been fully serviced and tested and is functioning correctly. The watch is sold with a 3-month guarantee on the functionality of the movement.
I aim to capture the condition of the watch accurately. Please make sure to review the pictures closely before bidding.
