Programmieren wie ein Zauberstab, Beolink 1000, über seine elegante und logische Tastatur, übertrug jede Ihre Anweisung. Es ermöglichte Ihnen, von CD zu TV zu wechseln, von Radio zu Video, vom Plattenspieler zum Kassettenspieler. Es ermöglichte sogar den Wechsel von TV-Lautsprechern zu Hi‑Fi‑Stereo-Lautsprechern, um die volle Nutzung von Stereo‑Video‑Recordern zu nutzen.

Konnte bequem an einer Wand als stationäres Tastenfeld platziert werden, gesichert durch den Beolink 1000 Clip, und war besonders gut geeignet, Beosystem 3500, Beocenter 8500, Beovisions LX5500 und LX4500 sowie Beovisions MX5500 und MX3500 zu bedienen. Die Einheit maß 40 x 15 x 230 mm und wog 230 g.

Beolink 1000 war Bang & Olufsen’s Einstieg-Fernbedienungsterminal, veröffentlicht 1986. Größere Brüder waren die Zwei‑Wege‑Beolink 5000 und Beolink 7000 Terminals. Ursprünglich kam es in mehreren Ausführungen: 1987 wurde Terminal A vorgestellt, gefolgt von Terminal V und dann Terminal AV. Zweck war die Steuerung des Audio‑Teils verschiedener Hi‑Fis (Terminal A); der Video‑Teile (Terminal V) und kombinierte Funktionen (Terminal AV).
