Description
From a private collection. A cushion-cased Zenith automatic from the 28800 vph generation, with the distinctive two-tone dial: a raspberry-pink outer zone framing a brushed champagne centre.

Dial
Signed with the Zenith star, “ZENITH – automatic – 28800”, and “AutoSport luxe” below the centre. “SWISS MADE” at the bottom. Applied gold-tone baton indexes with a printed minute track on the outer flange, gold dauphine-style hands, red-tipped seconds hand, framed date window between 4 and 5 o’clock.

Movement
Automatic. Rotor signed “ZENITH – 23 JEWELS – SWISS MADE”. Calibre marking on the plate: 2562 PC. Balance with index regulator. Photographed with the case back removed; see listing images.

Case
Cushion shape with brushed, vertically textured bezel and polished flanks, integrated lug design, fluted gold-tone crown, domed acrylic crystal.
Inside of the case back stamped: “SWISS MADE – GOLD FILLED – BEZEL 020 MIC – STEEL BACK”, with a maker’s shield mark and the number 6672 0002 as photographed. The outside of the case back carries fine engraved figures which are only partly legible.

Strap

Functioning & Condition
Very good for its age. Fully operational, winds and keeps accurate time. Light handling marks and minor wear signs. Crystal clean, no visible scratches. Dial in a good condition.
