【Description】

The OMEGA Constellation is defined by the four claws (griffes) that secure the case on either side of the bezel, together with the Roman numerals engraved on the bezel, giving it a design that is instantly recognisable. This example applies that design to a small ladies’ case, so it does not dominate the wrist while still clearly retaining the character of the Constellation.

The dial is silver, with round dot hour markers positioned inside the minute track around the outer edge. The hour and minute hands are blue, creating strong contrast against the silver dial and providing excellent legibility. The display is limited to hours and minutes, with no unnecessary decoration.

The case back features the Constellation medallion depicting the Geneva Observatory and eight stars. This motif is derived from Omega’s achievements in observatory chronometer trials, and the fact that this decoration extends even to a surface hidden while the watch is worn is one of the attractions of the series.

The bracelet uses a dedicated structure designed to integrate closely with the case, and the uninterrupted line flowing from the case into the bracelet creates the distinctive silhouette of this model. The movement is the quartz Cal.1455, requiring no daily winding and allowing the watch to be worn whenever needed. The entire watch is made of stainless steel, making it suitable for both business and casual wear.

With a case width of 22.5mm, it wears more like a bracelet than a conventional wristwatch. The size is especially well suited to slimmer wrists.
