HREPET × FeinStich – Arachne Mechanica
The Arachne Mechanica is a collaboration between HREPET and FeinStich.
HREPET provides the watchmaking foundation, while FeinStich is responsible for the dial’s technical design and engraving. On the patinated, engraved dial, FeinStich reimagines the spider as a mechanical creature. Finely articulated joints, depictions of gears and delicate ornamentation come together in a striking design. The patina accentuates the engraved lines, lending the composition an antique, technical character.


HREPET stands for uncompromising mechanical watchmaking and a deliberate return to classical complications. The HREPET is equipped with a genuine mechanical hour repeater—one of the most demanding disciplines in traditional horology. Inside the movement, a precisely tuned repetition system of hammer and gong is at work. At the full hour, the mechanism is triggered automatically, producing a single, clearly defined chime that audibly marks the passage of time.

The sound of the HREPET is intentionally restrained: clear, controlled, and free from intrusion. The specially engineered gong generates a short, harmonious resonance. The hammer strikes with precisely calibrated energy to ensure consistent tonal quality. The result is a refined, reduced sound—an acoustic detail for connoisseurs. For maximum everyday usability, the watch features a separate pusher at 4 o’clock, allowing the repetition chime to be completely deactivated. This function decouples the striking mechanism from the going train without affecting timekeeping precision. As a result, the watch remains perfectly silent in quiet environments or at night. HREPET represents technical clarity, functional reduction, and controlled mechanical complexity.
