It opens to f/2.8 at the wide end, focuses to 22cm for close-up work at 1:2.8 magnification, and carries both optical stabilisation and the quiet HSM motor. It is a practical single lens for travel, landscapes and everyday shooting. This is the Canon EF mount version.
