VINIFICATION
Mechanical pressing, fermentation in 8-ton vats with complete maceration. Aged for 1 year in bottle.
TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby color. Notes of ripe black fruit, with a touch of spice. On the palate it is fresh and confirms the notes of the nose. Balanced and well-structured. Long and complex finish.
SERVING
Ideal to accompany meat dishes, game and cheeses. Serve at 16-18º C.
DESCRIPTION
The Alentejo region is one of the rare territories with a tradition in the production of wine in carved wood. Ancestral Roman wisdom has been revived in recent years with incredible brilliance, rescuing from time immemorial a heritage that is not only wine-based, but also cultural. These are the cases of the carved wines currently produced in Amareleza under the mastery and art of winemaker José Piteira.
