There is no fungus or haze in the viewfinder. Under a strong professional light, faint haze can be seen near the centre of the front element, but this has absolutely no effect on the photographs taken.

Its all-black finish and red-lettered controls made it the look of a generation, and the digital LED display in the viewfinder was unlike anything else at the time. It comes here with the Canon New FD 50mm f/1.4, the fastest of the standard FD lenses.
