Striking and elegant ceramic sculpture by French artist Antoine Arnaud, depicting a highly stylised female figure in a long flowing gown.

The sculpture has a distinctive elongated silhouette with strong Art Deco and modernist influences. The woman’s dress and cape are decorated with finely modelled linear and geometric details, while the minimalist, featureless face gives the piece a particularly sophisticated sculptural character.

Executed in glossy white glazed ceramic, with delicate contrasting/gilt-toned detailing that accentuates the contours of the dress, hair and drapery.

The sculpture is monogrammed “AA” at the lower front, as clearly visible in the photographs, and stands on its original-style rectangular black base.
