Cartier - Oval - Taschenfeuerzeug - Metall in Goldton mit hellblauer Lackierung

This Must de Cartier lighter has a lovely pale blue lacquer body with warm gold-tone trim and a small Cartier monogram near the base. The clean color combination really caught my eye, and the extensive original presentation set makes it especially interesting at auction.

[Appearance]

A very elegant Must de Cartier lighter with a slim rounded body, pale blue lacquer finish and contrasting gold-tone trim. The small gold Cartier monogram near the lower front is a particularly nice touch. I like how simple this one looks from a distance, while the gold hardware gives it plenty of detail up close.

There are light scratches, rubbing, discoloration and signs of age, particularly around the gold-tone ignition mechanism and base. Some oxidation and age-related marks can also be seen around the internal metal parts. On the positive side, the pale blue exterior presents very nicely overall and retains a clean, attractive appearance.

The base is marked “Cartier Paris,” “PLAQUE OR G,” “SWISS MADE,” and serial number “C35909.” The markings remain clearly visible.

Basic ignition only confirmed.
It ignites, but the flame at the maximum setting is small.

As this is a vintage lighter, an overhaul or professional maintenance is recommended before long-term use.
