Elegante antike Poltrona mit geschnitztem und gedrechseltem Holzrahmen, der sich durch eine ungewöhnliche kreisrunde Sitzfläche und eine umhüllende Rückenlehne mit gepolsterten Armlehnen auszeichnet.

Der Möbel ist aus Massivholz, vermutlich Nussbaum, gefertigt, und besitzt eine schöne bräunlich-honigfarbene Patina, die sich im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt hat. Die Holzelemente sind reich verziert: Die Armlehnenstützen enden in eleganten Voluten, während in der Mitte der Rückenlehne ein dekoratives geschnitztes Motiv zu sehen ist. Die vier Beine sind beweglich/geformt und leicht gebogen, und sie sind durch ein charakteristisches System aus kreuzförmigen Holstreben verbunden, das der Poltrona große Stabilität und ein besonders anspruchsvolles Aussehen verleiht.

Die Sitzfläche, die Rückenlehne und die Armlehnen sind mit Stoff in altrosa/korallenfarbener Tönung bezogen, ergänzt durch dekorative Passamaneria. Der Bezug bewahrt den ursprünglichen Charme der Epoche, mit sichtbaren Zeichen von Alter und Nutzung, einschließlich Farbabweichungen, Abnutzung und einigen Flecken, wie in den Fotos deutlich zu sehen.

Zustand

Zustand insgesamt kohärent mit dem Alter und der Nutzung des Möbels. Die Holzkonstruktion zeigt eine schöne antike Patina, mit normalen Kratzern, kleinen Spuren, Abrieb und Farbabweichungen, die der Zeit geschuldet sind.

Der Bezug weist Abrieb, Verfärbungen und Flecken auf, besonders sichtbar auf dem hinteren und oberen Teil der Rückenlehne. Eine professionelle Reinigung könnte sinnvoll sein bzw. für diejenigen, die möchten, eine zukünftige Neubezug oder Neubehandlung des Bezugs.

Antique Armchair – Historic Revival Style, Late 19th / Early 20th Century

Elegant antique armchair with a carved and turned wooden frame, featuring an unusual circular seat and an enveloping backrest with upholstered armrests.

The chair is made of solid wood, probably walnut, with a beautiful warm brown patina developed naturally over time. The wooden structure is finely worked, with elegant scroll-shaped supports beneath the armrests, a decorative carved motif at the centre of the backrest and four shaped, slightly curved legs. The legs are connected by distinctive crossed wooden stretchers, giving the chair both stability and an attractive decorative appearance.

The seat, backrest and armrests are upholstered in antique rose/coral-coloured fabric, finished with decorative braid. The upholstery retains the character of its period, with visible signs of age and use, including colour variations, wear and some staining, all clearly visible in the photographs.

Condition
