The Canon AE-1 Program is a highly popular 35mm SLR that combines Program AE convenience with the flexibility of the Canon FD system. This example is paired with the earlier FD 50mm F1.4 S.S.C., a fast standard prime valued for its bright aperture and classic rendering.

This camera has been carefully inspected and serviced in Japan. I personally work on each camera with attention to reliable operation and overall condition, and I also receive maintenance requests from camera shops in Japan.

■ Appearance
There are some light scuffs from normal use, but overall it remains in generally clean cosmetic condition.
The light seals have been replaced to help prevent light leaks, and the fresh seals also give the camera a cleaner, well-maintained appearance.

■ Viewfinder
The viewfinder is very clear and provides a clean, comfortable view for focusing and composition.
The viewfinder has also been cleaned as part of the service.

■ Lens / Optics
There is only slight haze, with no effect on shooting. Overall, the optics remain clear.

The camera has been carefully inspected, serviced and tested. All basic functions checked are operating properly, and the camera is ready for normal use. The shutter speeds have also been measured and adjusted using professional camera test equipment.
