A charming vintage Minerva Antimagnetique wristwatch featuring a distinctive rectangular case, black dial and small seconds.

Minerva was a historic Swiss watch manufacturer based in Villeret, Switzerland, with roots dating back to the 19th century. The brand became particularly well known for its in-house mechanical movements and chronographs.

This example features a striking black dial with gold-coloured Arabic numerals and hour markers, matching hands and a subsidiary seconds register positioned at 6 o’clock.

Condition

The watch is offered in vintage condition consistent with its age.

The case shows numerous signs of age and use, including scratches, surface wear, oxidation and considerable wear to the gold-coloured exterior. The surface has developed an aged and patinated appearance.

The black dial also shows visible signs of ageing, including patina, spots and surface imperfections. These characteristics contribute to the authentic vintage appearance of the watch.

The crystal has visible scratches and signs of use.

The black leather strap cannot be confirmed as original to Minerva and should therefore be considered a replacement/non-original strap.
