Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
--- Introduction ---
Introduced by Rado at the height of the 1970s design revolution, the Balboa is one of the house's most recognisable vintage silhouettes, with its sculpted barrel case, broad polished bezel and faceted crystal that plays with light from every angle. This example presents a silver sunburst dial with Rado's signature rotating red anchor emblem, applied faceted baton indices and a date window at three o'clock. It is fitted with a Milanese-style mesh bracelet closing on a Rado seahorse-signed clasp, and the gold seahorse "Water Sealed" medallion is still set into the case back. A bold, characterful piece of 1970s Swiss design that wears with real presence on the wrist.

--- Condition Report ---
Overall: Good vintage condition, with honest signs of age and wear consistent with a watch of around fifty years.
Case & Bezel: The polished surfaces show light scratches, scuffs and some spotting and surface marks from use, with a few small nicks along the left flank. No major dents are visible.
Dial & Crystal: The silver dial remains attractive and legible, with a few small spots and light discolouration near the outer edge and a small dark mark near four o'clock. The faceted crystal shows light surface wear.
Bracelet & Clasp: The mesh bracelet is intact and closes securely; it shows general wear and a few small spots of discolouration within the mesh. The clasp shows light scratching.
Functions: The watch has been checked by us and is running, with the hands advancing correctly at the time of listing. A service by a qualified watchmaker is recommended at the new owner's convenience, and no guarantee of long-term accuracy or water resistance is given.
