UMAGE Eos Esther Medium with the Santé floor stand is a complete designer floor lamp combining the distinctive Eos Esther feather lampshade in Light Blue with the elegant Santé floor stand in brushed brass. Eos Esther – handmade with approximately 2,790 natural goose feathers

Eos Esther takes its inspiration from Eos, the goddess of dawn in Greek mythology, as well as from the light clouds floating across the sky. This inspiration is clearly reflected in the lampshade's organic shape and airy structure.

The Eos Esther Medium shade is handmade and covered with approximately 2,790 natural goose feathers, carefully arranged in layers. The feathers create a rich, tactile surface while gently filtering the light to produce a soft, comfortable and diffused glow.

The refined Light Blue colour gives Eos Esther a calm and sophisticated appearance. It adds a subtle touch of colour to the interior without becoming overpowering and works beautifully with light woods, neutral tones and the warm brushed brass finish of the Santé floor stand.

Reversible lampshade for a flexible look

One of the distinctive features of Eos Esther is its flexible, reversible construction. The lampshade can be mounted in either direction, allowing you to choose whether the wider or narrower end faces downwards.

This gives you the freedom to change the visual expression of the lamp and adapt it to your interior. The organic silhouette takes on a different character depending on its orientation, adding another level of versatility to the Eos Esther design.

Santé floor stand in brushed brass

The elegant Santé floor stand is designed by Anders Klem and provides a minimalist foundation for the distinctive Eos Esther shade.

Made from quality materials including aluminium and steel, the stand features an elegant brushed brass finish. The warm metallic tone creates a beautiful contrast with the Light Blue feather shade and enhances the luxurious appearance of the complete lamp.

The Santé floor stand measures 140 cm in height and has a base diameter of 38 cm. Its slender construction ensures that the stand does not appear heavy or dominating, allowing the large Eos Esther shade to remain the natural focal point.

Søren Ravn Christensen – designer of Eos Esther

Eos Esther is designed by Søren Ravn Christensen, co-founder and Chief Creative Developer at UMAGE.

Søren Ravn Christensen is a self-taught designer with a background in developing concepts for the hospitality industry and galleries. He has played a central role in developing the UMAGE design universe, with an approach that brings together aesthetics, functionality and flexibility.

The Eos collection is a characteristic example of this philosophy. Natural goose feathers are transformed into a decorative lighting design where the material's texture becomes an important part of both the visual appearance and the way the lamp interacts with light.

Anders Klem – designer of Santé

The Santé floor stand is designed by Anders Klem, who graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2013 and joined the UMAGE in-house design team the same year.

His furniture and lighting designs are characterised by a balance between artistic lines and distinct simplicity. Attention to detail combined with strong technical knowledge plays a central role in his approach to design.

This can clearly be seen in the Santé floor stand, where the minimalist construction creates an elegant and functional foundation designed to highlight the lampshade rather than compete with it.

Soft and atmospheric lighting

When Eos Esther is illuminated, the light is gently filtered through the many layers of feathers. This highlights the texture of the shade while creating a warm, soft and atmospheric glow.

The lamp is therefore particularly well suited for ambient and decorative lighting in rooms where creating a cosy atmosphere is important. Even when switched off, the large organic shade functions as an eye-catching decorative design element.

The E27 socket also allows you to choose an LED bulb with the brightness and colour temperature that best suits your interior and preferred atmosphere.

Easy maintenance

Despite its detailed and exclusive appearance, the Eos Esther lampshade is easy to maintain. UMAGE recommends removing dust gently using an ordinary hairdryer.

The lampshade weighs only approximately 0.62 kg, while the Santé floor stand weighs approximately 3.3 kg. Assembly of the floor stand takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
