DESCRIPTION
The Canon FL 58mm F1.2 was the ultra-fast standard lens of Canon's FL system, introduced in the mid-1960s alongside the Canon FX. Its large F1.2 aperture gathers a great deal of light and gives a very shallow depth of field with the soft, characterful rendering wide open that these early fast lenses are known for. It mounts on Canon FL and FD bodies (stop-down metering) and is a popular choice for adapting to mirrorless cameras.
