Dial and Hands
The dial is excellently preserved, featuring a distinctive grey textured granite-style finish that provides excellent visual depth. Applied indices hold a creamy lume patina that matches the Mercedes-style hands perfectly. The hands, detailed with black surrounds, remain in excellent condition and are free of visible corrosion or cracking. Crisp printed text completes the layout, reading cleanly against the textured background, with no visible spotting or damage to the attractive dial surface.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features a matte sandblasted finish, with edges that remain generally well defined throughout the profile. It exhibits honest wear consistent with age, including light scratches and wear on the lugs and flanks. The steel unidirectional bezel displays black-filled numerals and indices alongside a lume pip at the 12 o'clock position, showing some scratches and wear to its matte finish. The knurled crown is signed with the TAG Heuer shield and shows light wear from normal handling. A flat sapphire crystal, which remains clear with no visible scratches, protects the dial.

Movement
Inside is a clean TAG Heuer caliber 1.92 quartz movement, featuring seven jewels and marked Swiss V8. The movement displays no visible corrosion or damage, and a battery is currently installed to power the watch.

Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed bracelet, featuring steel jubilee-style links and a signed folding clasp. The endlinks are clearly marked 303/81. The bracelet shows moderate wear, scratches, and some dirt accumulation between the links, characteristic of normal use over the decades. It accommodates a maximum wrist size of 15.5cm.

Good vintage condition. The watch presents honest wear consistent with age and use, with light scratches visible on the matte sandblasted case and unidirectional bezel.
