Artwork Overview:

MEETING
An alignment of distinct forces. Four entities gather shoulder-to-shoulder, convened in a space of quiet negotiation and shared presence. Their crowns and headpieces rise in sharp contrast—ranging from heavy charcoal scribbles and light chalk outlines to a classic yellow crown and a vibrant, electric-blue tiara. Looking out through mismatched eyes, stitched grins, and exposed rib cages, they form an intimate council brought together by an unspoken imperative.

The earthy, ochre-tinted backdrop creates a dense, elemental space, cut through by loose brushstrokes and vibrant blue graffiti marks. Coded symbols, cross-hatching, and chalk-drawn crowns float across the surface, recording the friction and exchange of their encounter. Nothing is hidden. Nothing is unexamined.

MEETING explores the weight of convergence—the brief, powerful moment when separate identities cross paths to share the same space. It is a portrait of collective encounter, where power, vulnerability, and purpose remain fully exposed—unresolved, interconnected, and bound to the present moment.

Artist Bio:
ARVY is a fourth-generation artist continuing a family legacy of visual and performance art. He studied painting at an art college, graduating in 2016, and has been active in the art world ever since.

Raised in a creative household, ARVY began his artistic path in childhood while assisting his father — painter, illusionist and performer Arvydas Gaičiūnas ( Retne ), co-founder of Magic Theater DiArchy. This early exposure to both visual art and stage performance shaped his distinctive, theatrical sensibility.

ARVY’s work is eclectic and emotionally charged, blending elements of contemporary expressionism, symbolism, street energy, and poetic abstraction. His pieces explore contrasts — chaos and harmony, intuition and control — reflecting the pulse of modern life through vivid color and raw gesture.

He has exhibited internationally and his works are held in private collections across Europe. Beyond painting, ARVY is also known for his creative versatility as a musician and digital creator, bringing the same intensity and imagination to sound, movement, and image.

Thank you for considering ARVY’s work. This portrait is sure to be a standout addition to any collection of modern or contemporary art!
