Vintage Omega Ref. 2507 – 14K Solid Gold – Cal. 265 – Original Two-Tone Dial – Circa 1950
A beautiful and elegant vintage Omega reference 2507, dating from approximately 1950, housed in a solid 14K yellow gold case and powered by the manually wound Omega calibre 265.
This is a particularly attractive example of a classic post-war Omega dress watch, featuring a beautifully proportioned 33 mm case, elegant sculpted lugs and a distinctive original two-tone silver dial.
The dial is original and remains in very good vintage condition. Its two-tone silver finish is complemented by alternating Arabic numerals and triangular hour markers, elegant gold dauphine hands and a finely finished subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock. The overall design has a strong mid-century character and is especially attractive in combination with the warm tone of the solid-gold case.
The solid 14K yellow gold case is in very good condition for its age, retaining a strong shape and elegant polished surfaces. The inside of the caseback is correctly signed Omega Watch Co. / Fab. Suisse / Swiss Made, stamped 14K / 0.585, and bears reference 2507.
The watch is powered by the respected Omega calibre 265, a 15-jewel manual-winding movement from Omega’s famous 30 mm movement family. The movement serial number is 12,140,644, dating the watch to approximately 1950.
The watch is in very good overall condition and presents beautifully on the wrist.
It is fitted with a black genuine leather strap and an aftermarket gold-plated buckle.
The watch is supplied with the Omega presentation box shown in the photographs.
