ÜBER DIE KÜNSTLERIN

Die Arbeiten von Elena Paraskeva befinden sich in institutionellen und Unternehmenssammlungen, darunter die Public Art Department of Sweden (Västra Götaland Government), Boston Hospital, USA (große 500 cm Installation am Eingang zum Krebsbereich für Kinder), Australian National University, Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif) und weitere institutionelle und Unternehmenssammlungen.

Ihre Arbeiten wurden im Europäischen Parlament in Brüssel sowie auf großen Biennalen (wie der Florence Biennale) und Galerien in NYC, Paris, Tokio, London, Dubai, Sao Paulo (Brasilien), Wien, Barcelona, München, Kuala Lumpur, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena etc. ausgestellt.

Im Jahr 2026 wurde ihre Arbeit ausgewählt, von zwei Fotografielegenden ausgezeichnet/ausgestellt zu werden: Christopher Morris (der angesehene Fotograf, der 30 Jahre lang beim TIME Magazine arbeitete, darunter neun Jahre mit Berichten aus dem Weißen Haus) und Magnum-Fotograf Alec Soth, der weithin als einer der einflussreichsten lebenden Fotografen gilt.

Sie wurde von vier verschiedenen internationalen fotografischen Gesellschaften zur International Photographer of the Year (2024 / 2023 / 2021 / 2018) gekürt.

Sie hat internationale Anerkennung und bedeutende Auszeichnungen von Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards und vielen weiteren erhalten.

Seit 2021 ist sie Jurorin für das FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS – bewertet neben Kuratoren des Fotografiska Museums und des Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography – sowie jährlich Jurorin bei mehreren internationalen Fotografiewettbewerben. Sie war außerdem früher Adobe-Instruktorin und Botschafterin.

Ihre Fotografien wurden in Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian (UK & Australien), The Times, Vogue.it, Aesthetica, LensCulture, PDN, Photography Masterclass und zahlreichen anderen internationalen Publikationen veröffentlicht.
