The applied markers and luminous inserts show signs of ageing, while the contrasting subsidiary counters retain their distinctive appearance. The acrylic crystal presents surface marks, and the leather strap shows creasing and wear. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an essential part of the condition description.

The watch’s water resistance has not been tested. Contact with water should therefore be avoided.
Story & Heritage
This Elvia captures the expressive character of vintage Swiss sporting chronographs. Its broad steel case frames a blue dial with two contrasting, rounded-square counters—a distinctive interpretation of the panda configuration. The vivid red chronograph hand adds a dynamic focal point, complemented by the red date numerals at 6 o’clock.
It is powered by the famous Valjoux 7734, a manual-wind chronograph calibre also used by Tudor, Heuer, Breitling and other watchmakers. Its presence in Tudor’s first Oysterdate chronographs, Heuer models and Breitling Datora watches gives this movement a notable connection to vintage Swiss chronograph history.
The substantial cushion-shaped steel case gives the watch a confident presence, while its brushed surfaces and polished inner surround add depth to the design. The outer tachymeter scale reinforces the instrument-like appearance, recalling the visual language of motorsport timing.
Winding the movement by hand brings a personal ritual to ownership, offering a tangible connection to the mechanism beneath the case back. With its attractive blue panda configuration, distinctive counters and established Valjoux calibre, this Elvia offers an appealing combination of mechanical substance and bold vintage style.
