Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
Omega Genève Automatic Black Dial – Cal. 1481 – Ref. 166.099
The Omega Genève Ref. 166.099 is a distinctive early-1970s model that reflects Omega’s transition from traditional round dress watches toward the stronger geometric forms of the decade. The reference is documented with a 35 mm stainless-steel tonneau-shaped case and Omega’s automatic Calibre 1481. Period examples are documented around 1970–1972, with a 1971 example carrying a movement serial in the 33-million range.
The Calibre 1481 is a self-winding movement with central seconds and a date display, and the Ref. 166.099 is specifically documented with this calibre in period-style stainless-steel configurations. Auction records also confirm the combination of Ref. 166.099, Cal. 1481, 35 mm case and date function.
This example has an especially striking configuration, combining the angular brushed steel case and bracelet with a deep black dial and contrasting gold-tone details. The applied textured baton indexes and matching gold-tone hands stand out sharply against the dark background, while the framed date aperture at 3 o’clock completes the characteristic 1970s Genève layout.
Important Photo & Color Note: High-resolution images may exaggerate minor imperfections not visible to the naked eye. Photographs were taken using professional camera equipment and controlled lighting; therefore, the dial, case, and bracelet may appear slightly darker, brighter, or different in tone depending on ambient lighting, direct sunlight, viewing angle, and screen settings.

In sehr gutem Vintage-Zustand präsentiert.
