KI-gestützte Zusammenfassung

Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung

Title: Japanese Suiseki, Fuji-san form, Zansetsu, with original wooden Daiza.
Origin: Japan
Dimensions (including Daiza): approx. H 21.5 × W 41.5 × D 22 cm (8.5 × 16.3 × 8.7 in)
Total weight: approx. 19 kg (41.9 lbs)
Material: Natural raw stone
Period: Showa era
Accessories: Original contoured black lacquered wooden Daiza (台座)

This evocative large-size Japanese viewing stone is a traditional natural Suiseki (水石).

The stone is not hand-carved; it naturally forms a single peak shaped like Mount Fuji. Large white quartz deposits rest on the dark host rock, resembling lingering snow blanketing the summit of this Fuji-shaped mountain. The surface retains natural weathered fissure textures, carrying a strong aura of distant mountains. Ideal for display in interior spaces, tea rooms and writing desks.

It comes with its original contoured black lacquered wooden Daiza, hand-carved from solid wood with five supporting feet, perfectly shaped to fit the stone.

This Zansetsu (残雪) mountain suiseki is a classic landscape suiseki. Its simple mountain form embodies wabi-sabi and Karesansui (枯山水) aesthetics, with both decorative and collectible value.

Due to age, the stone retains natural weathered texture, no cracks or restorations. The lacquer on the Daiza shows minor surface wear. Good overall condition for its age.
