Die Teekanne war physisch über dem Kopf des Models mit feinen Metallnadeln suspendiert, die nach der Aufnahme in der Nachbearbeitung entfernt wurden. Ich bin ein konzeptioneller Künstler, der sich der Schaffung surrealer Bilder durch Kamera und reale Inszenierung verschrieben hat — niemals KI-generiert.

ÜBER DIE KÜNSTLERIN

Werk von Elena Paraskeva ist in institutionellen und firmeninternen Sammlungen vertreten, darunter die Public Art Department of Sweden (Västra Götaland Government), Boston Hospital, USA (große 500 cm Installation am Eingang zur Abteilung für Kinderkrebs), Australian National University, Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif) und weitere institutionelle und firmenbezogene Sammlungen.

Seit 2021 ist Elena Paraskeva Jurorin des FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS — gemeinsam mit namhaften Juroren wie dem Kurator des Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography und dem Fotografiska Museum.

Ihre Arbeiten wurden im Europäischen Parlament in Brüssel sowie auf bedeutenden Biennalen und Galerien in NYC, Paris, Tokyo, London, Dubai, Sao Paolo (Brasilien), Wien, Barcelona, München, Kuala Lumpur, Florenz, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena u.a. gezeigt.
Im Jahr 2026 wählte Magnum-Fotograf Alec Soth ihre Arbeiten persönlich für eine Ausstellung in Griechenland aus, die unter Schirmherrschaft des griechischen Kulturministeriums stattfand.

Sie wurde von vier internationalen fotofotografischen Gesellschaften zur International Photographer of the Year (2024/2023/2021/2018) ernannt und erhielt internationale Anerkennung sowie bedeutende Auszeichnungen von Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards und vielen anderen.

Sie war außerdem ehemalige Adobe-Ausbilderin und Markenbotschafterin.

Ihre Fotografien wurden in Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian (UK & Australien), The Times, Vogue.it, Aesthetica, LensCulture, PDN, Photography Masterclass und zahlreichen weiteren internationalen Publikationen veröffentlicht.
