A lovely early 17th century Thickly potted Chinese porcelain plate with a central decoration of dancing Kui Xing (God of Literature), in a Landscape with an object. Executed in a magnificent cobalt blue. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the late Ming dynasty, Jajing t period (ca. 1560) . On the backside a nice deep foot rim with remnants of sand from the kiln and a mark. Diameter: 13,5 centimeter Condition: The object is in fair condition, a mouse bite and restoration.
