Extremely Rare Wankel Rotary Engine Model - Iconic Engineering Demonstrator for Educational Use

At today's auction I have an educational model / teaching aid model / engine cross-section used in mechanical and technical schools in Poland during the PRL period.
This is a highly unique and exceptionally rare working model of the Wankel rotary engine, a revolutionary design that powered legendary vehicles such as the Mazda RX series and the NSU Ro80. Perfect for collectors, engineers, and automotive enthusiasts who appreciate the innovation behind this engine’s iconic status.

Key Features:
	•	Dimensions: 21 x 26 x 16 cm
	•	Condition: Excellent, fully functional
	•	Purpose: Originally used in technical schools and automotive courses to demonstrate the principles of the Wankel rotary engine.
	•	Details: The model beautifully displays the internal mechanism, showcasing the triangular rotor and its movement, which made this engine design famous.

This rare piece is an extraordinary addition to any collection and is seldom found in such remarkable condition. Its educational and historical value cannot be overstated.

Why This Model?

The Wankel engine is celebrated for its compact design and smooth operation, yet it remains a rare engineering feat due to its complexity and limited production. Models like this were once utilized for teaching, but they are now incredibly scarce and sought after by enthusiasts worldwide.

Additional Notes:
	•	Carefully preserved on its original wooden base.
	•	Perfect for display, educational purposes, or as a conversation starter in any automotive-themed setting.
