Konstantin "Zmogk" Danilov (1979) - Deep deconstruction

- Technique details: Acrylic on cotton canvas - Certificate of Authenticity provided - Delivery in a wooden crate. This painting about the disintegration and reconstruction of the inner image of a person through color. Deep blue and violet create an atmosphere of night and introspection, evoking both silence and subtle anxiety. Orange lines act as flashes of consciousness breaking through the darkness — symbols of inner tension and conflict. For me, this is a process of analyzing and dismantling emotions, memories, and states into fragments. The silhouette emerging through the layers suggests that identity is never a fixed image, but a constantly shifting structure arising at the border of light and dark, conscious and unconscious. «Borderline States» imply movement from the center to the periphery and back, mastering the color space, comparing emotional background and color. I would like to achieve combinations and dynamics that directly and positively impact the articulation of emotional intelligence. Bio. Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth. He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation, and Sofia Trotsenko Collection. Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and New York. His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration. Using techniques such as painting around the edges of the canvas to reflect the hidden emotional layers that frame our conscious experience. Instagram: @zmogk
