Etienne Pixa (b. 1971, Strasbourg) is a French-German painter whose raw, colorful, and instinctive works fuse abstraction and figuration in the spirit of abstract expressionism. Mostly self-taught, he studied with Suzanne Obrecht in Strasbourg and Frank Pieperhoff at Kunstgut Berlin. His career spans over two decades, with exhibitions including St’art Strasbourg, Galerie Rendez-Vous, Ateliers Ouverts, Kunst in Betrieb (Halle), Kunstgut Berlin, and 48 Stunden Neukölln.
