For sale is this great looking and sounding Philips CDV 185 CD-Video player. This classic Philips CD player (made in Belgium) has the beloved TDA 1541A DAC inside. The TDA 1541A is considered as one of the best DACs ever and therefor this CD player produces a very nice and warm analog sound. Many modern CD players cannot match this. A Philips system remote control is included so that you can operate the CDV player remotely. If you have other vintage Philips audio components from that era in your audio system these can possibly also be controlled with this remote control. The player is in very good condition and has almost no signs of use, see pictures. The display is still brightly lit, this player has not had many hours of play time. CD playback has been tested and works perfectly, however I do not have CD-Video disks so the video function is not tested. This CD-Video player is very sought after by audiophiles.
