She holds an MFA in Graphic Design (2020). After years of working as a designer and art director, Lavrova rediscovered her passion – visual art. Lavrova's prior work in design informed her artistic practice, in which she emphasizes structure, composition, and visual clarity. About the artist "In my work, I follow intuition and explore traditionally feminine intangible qualities and hidden layers of our emotions by creating free-flowing, low-relief ceramic wall sculptures. They are an ode to my matriarchal lineage. My grandmother worked as a painter in a ceramic factory during the Soviet Union. I remember seeing these art pieces as a kid in my grandparents' house, where I spent my childhood summers. In a way, I'm intuitively continuing this tradition with my own sculptural practice.
