Made from solid teak, this high-end quality piece showcases the exceptional skill of Indian artisans who worked under colonial patronage, blending European form with traditional Indian carving techniques. Each of the six panels features intricate openwork with arabesque and foliate motifs, while the legs are elaborately sculpted with stylised serpent or dragon figures. The top is richly decorated with a carved floral medallion and an ornate border, all executed by hand in solid teak wood.
