The silverplated armatures seem to have served as a pair of candleholders, before the creator of these lamps turned them into the beauties that they are today. Below the socket, there is a decorative shaft, which creates the illusion that the candles are still there. The high quality covers are crafted from black sick, with a decorative velvet flowerpattern. Both lamps are in a perfectly working condition, with patina on the armatures.
