Omega - Speedmaster Reverse Panda - Ohne Mindestpreis - 3511.50 - Herren - 1990-1999

The watch in the photo is the classic Omega Speedmaster Automatic, also known in some versions as the "Reduced" (due to the smaller case diameter than the iconic Moonwatch). It is one of the most recognizable mechanical watches in the world - due to its history, quality of workmanship and ties to space exploration. OMEGA Speedmaster Reverse Panda Case: Stainless steel, rotating bezel Diameter: 36mm case, 13mm high Movement: Automatic, Chronograph (stopwatch) – three subdials (small seconds and time counters) Date display (at 3 o'clock) Tachymeter on bezel Reference number: 3511.50 Dial: Black with three light subdials, date on the 3 o'clock Hands: Luminous white hands Glass: Sapphire glass Buckle: Original signed Bracelet: Stainless steel, size 17cm Crown: Original signed Included original Omega box The Omega Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a watch for rally drivers – hence the presence of a tachymeter. It became famous thanks to NASA, which chose the Speedmaster Professional as the official watch for astronauts. 1969: The Omega Speedmaster was the first watch worn on the moon by Buzz Aldrin during the Apollo 11 mission – hence the nickname "Moonwatch". The Automatic/Reduced version appeared in the 1980s and was a more compact alternative to the manual-winding version.
