Each set includes a brass bell, cushion, stand, and wooden striker—except for the largest bell, which comes with its cushion but no stand. The strikers are made of wood, six wrapped in brocade fabric and one in leather. These bells are used in Buddhist rituals to punctuate prayers and moments of meditation with a distinct, resonant chime. Unlike Himalayan singing bowls, which are rubbed in a circular motion, Orin bells are gently struck to produce a single, fading tone that creates a serene atmosphere. The bells are crafted from brass, while the stands are made of either wood or lacquered resin. The cushions are covered in vividly patterned brocade fabric, symbolising respect and reverence in Buddhist altar settings. There are visible signs of age and use, including scuffs, patina, and minor stains on the bells. The cushions show fading, and the strikers have some blemishes and wear consistent with use. Overall in good used condition. Please refer carefully to the photographs for details. Dimensions when stacked: approx. H 10.3-12 cm W 8.5-9.5 cm D 8.5-9.5 cm ・Please make sure to review all the provided information and images before placing your bid. ・We make every effort to accurately represent the product's colors and textures in our photos. However, due to differences in monitors and device displays, as well as photographic conditions, slight color variations between the photos and the actual product may occur.
