DESCRIPTION
A pink sandstone Jaina Tirthankara Parshvanatha Seated in Meditation (Dhyanamudra) under a Snake Hood.
The jina seated on a throne with hands place on the lap. On his either side stand two tirthankharas in the kayosarga pose.
Parshvanatha was the 23rd of 24 Tirthankaras of Jainism.

From the collection of Jean-Marc Andral, acquired between 1996 and 2005 at Galerie Carré des Antiquaires in Versailles, France.
