Omega - Red 12 Trench Style - Ohne Mindestpreis - Herren - 1900-1949

This is a charming and rare vintage Omega wristwatch, believed to be from the early 20th century (likely 1930s to 1940s), featuring a classic design with an elegant sub-second complication. Key Features • Brand: Omega • Movement: Original Omega mechanical manual-wind movement, clearly signed "OMEGA" on the bridge. The movement appears to be a caliber consistent with this era. • Case: Gold-plated case with fixed lugs, typical of early wristwatch designs. The case exhibits a pleasant, aged patina. • Dial: White/silver-tone dial featuring large, bold Arabic numerals for the hours (12, 1, 2, etc.) and a smaller, auxiliary sub-second register at the 6 o'clock position. • Hands: Rose-gold tone "feuille" or leaf-style hands for the hours and minutes, and a simple stick hand for the sub-seconds. • Crown: Original or period-correct winding crown. • Strap: Currently fitted with a non-original blue leather strap Condition Report Aesthetic Condition (Dial & Case): • Dial: The dial shows significant signs of age and patina. There are noticeable cosmetic damages, particularly a large chip/loss of the dial material around the 12 o'clock area, affecting the numeral, and a corresponding loss/damage near the 8 o'clock marker. There is also a hairline crack or prominent scratch running horizontally from the center towards the 3 o'clock position. The secondary 24-hour track and minute track are still legible. • Crystal: The crystal shows scratches and signs of wear and is aftermarket • Case: The gold plating is generally well-preserved but exhibits wear, scratches, and rubbing, particularly visible around the edges and lugs. The fixed lugs are intact. Movement Condition (Internal): • Movement: The Omega movement is visible through the open case back. It appears complete and original with the "OMEGA" signature clearly visible. The brass plates show some light oxidation and tarnish but the overall structure of the gear train is visible and appears intact. • Functionality: The service history is unknown. As with all vintage watches, a professional cleaning, oiling, and adjustment is highly recommended by the new owner for optimal timekeeping.
