The item offered for auction is a beautiful, richly decorated silver sugar bowl with lid, crafted by the renowned Parisian silversmith Henri Lapeyre, active between 1895 and 1923.
The piece has survived in very good condition for its age and retains its original, untouched patina, which highlights the ornamental details. The silver has never been polished — it was preserved exclusively using museum-grade conservation methods. The sugar bowl has one small, unobtrusive dent that does not affect its appearance.
