Noble and dense nose, fresh, dark without being immanent, full without being impenetrable, persuasive, clearly floral, very mineral (roque), with notes of bread crust, spices, even roasting, pastry, in a deep, enveloping, tremendously fascinating whole. And, gradually, the notes of red fruits up to the cassis. Bright mouth, intact and integrated, creamy, indeed velvety and fresh at the same time, concentrated but never heavy, played in the tones of a red orange after the pastry attack, and then develops dry, clean, tasty, even spicy pepper. Great champagne, powerful, authoritative, complex and sophisticated.
