FOUR RARE HARD TO FIND CONJUNTO ALBUMS OF FLACO JIMENEZ Flaco Jimenez = US American singer, songwriter, and accordion virtuoso, widely regarded as the king of Tex-Mex music.Born March 11, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Died July 31, 2025 in the San Antonio area, Texas, USA Six-Time Grammy Award Winning (including 2015 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award) Tejano music accordionist from San Antonio, Texas. Son of Santiago Jiménez. Made his first records in a garage studio in the 1950s for Jose A. Morante's Norteño/Sombrero labels located at the corner of Ruiz Street and 24th Street in San Antonio, TX. The studio engineer for those recordings was Salome Gutierrez R. of whom later started his own record label known as D.L.B. RECORDS (Del Bravo Records). Jimenez is revered by his fans as "El Rey de Texas" (The King of Texas). No information is to find at Discogs!!! Toby Torres = Conjunto musician from San Antonio, Texas, known for playing the bajo sexto and bass and singing. Torres was born in San Antonio on June 3rd, 1935. In the late 1960s, Torres established ZaZ Records, and in the early 1980s he opened Toby's Custom Recording Studio where he was a recording engineer and producer. Torres passed away in San Antonio on November 24th, 2019 at age 84. T.V.T. Producciones is a 1970s Latin label from San Antonio, Texas.
