Bill Zygmant Of John Lennon and Yoko Ono - Rare John Lennon Signed photo

John Lennon & Yoko Ono by Bill Zygmant (1968) Title: John Lennon & Yoko Ono – First Ever Photograph Together (Apple Tailoring, 1968) – Signed by Bill Zygmant Description An exceptionally rare and historically important original photograph by Bill Zygmant, capturing John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their very first public appearance together at Apple Tailoring (Civil & Theatrical), Kings Road, London, May 1968. This image is regarded as one of the most significant early photographs of the couple, taken only days after John and Yoko became a couple, and before their relationship became public knowledge. The scene was shot outside the Apple Tailoring boutique and features: • John Lennon, dressed in a fur coat and flared trousers, striking a confident pose. • Yoko Ono, standing behind him in her characteristic loose white attire. • Mannequins and interior décor that firmly date the location to Apple Tailoring. This photograph appears in multiple publications documenting the early Lennon–Ono period and is an essential piece for collectors of Beatles memorabilia, 1960s culture, or rock history. Artist / Photographer Bill Zygmant (b. 1944) Highly respected British press and music photographer, known for photographing The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Bee Gees, The Move, Lulu, and many leading figures of 1960s/70s London. This print comes directly from Bill Zygmant’s personal collection, retained by him throughout his life. Signature Hand-signed “b. Zygmant” in black marker in the lower right corner. Date Photographed 23 May 1968 Dimensions Approx. 30 x 20 cm (see photos with tape measure). Condition Very good vintage condition. Minor handling signs consistent with age but nothing distracting.
